Create an Account

  1. Navigate to Accounts.
  2. Click Create from the left side menu.
  3. Enter the following:
    • Account Number (use numbering system from your Chart of Accounts).
    • Name of the Account.
    • Description of the Account.
    • Account Type (Asset, Expense, Liability, Revenue, etc).
  4. Click Create.

Now that the account is created, click Edit in the left side menu to configure additional settings, such as:

  • Description
  • Check Format
  • Vendor
  • Exclude from Statements
  • Restrictions and Manage Cash
    • Manage Cash is important for balance swaps and tracking the location of each Fund's assets. 
    • Manage cash only applies to Asset and Liability accounts.
